B28 Strategy Lab — a strategy tester in your browser
Write a strategy in a few lines of code, pick gold, EUR/USD or GBP/USD, and backtest it on five years of daily prices. You get the equity curve, profit factor, win rate, drawdown and every trade. It is free. The Lab asks you to join the free B28 Signals Telegram group before it opens.
Two AI helpers suggest changes to your code and give you starter ideas. They send the code you paste to an outside AI service, Pollinations, so do not paste anything private.
The champion, with its worst moment
We tested 27 strategies on the same five years of daily data, with the same cost rules. The best was a 10-day breakout with a stop 2×ATR away and a target 6×ATR away. These are its results in the Lab’s own engine. One tap in the Lab loads it and lists every trade.

Read the gold row again. On the way to +281%, the test account fell $669 from its best point, two thirds of the $1,000 it started with. The strategy was also picked as the best of 27 on these same five years, which makes it look better than it will on new data. EUR/USD rests on 15 trades. Test it on other dates before you trust it.
How the test works: daily bars from Yahoo Finance, September 2021 to September 2026 (gold uses the GC=F futures price). A fixed 0.01 lot, a $1,000 start, spread charged on every trade, no slippage, one position at a time. This is a backtest of the past, not a forecast.
The proving ground

The company runs its strategies side by side on paper accounts on gold. Each one starts with the same simulated balance and trades the same prices. While the feed is running, the room updates every few minutes. Anyone can open it, with no signup:
Those are demo accounts trading simulated money. A paper account has no slippage the way a real one does, and a backtest only measures the past. Neither is a promise about your account.
GRID28 — an expert advisor for MetaTrader 4
GRID28 trades gold on the hourly chart. It only opens in the direction of the slow trend, the 100-bar average. Each time price moves one more step in its favour, it adds the same fixed lot, never a bigger one, up to ten steps. It holds the whole basket behind a lock that sits three times the average hourly range behind the best price, and it closes the basket when its profit target is reached. It is written for MetaTrader 4 (build 600 or newer).
- The lock is not a stop order at your broker. GRID28 checks it when each hourly bar closes, so a fast move inside the hour can go past it, and nothing protects the trades while MetaTrader is closed.
- It is a trend-rider. It wins rarely and wins big, rather than often and small. Trade a size you can afford to lose.
- It runs without a licence on a demo account. A live account needs a licence key tied to your MT4 account number.

B28.Signals — the signal room
Not open yet
The plan is a Telegram room where every trade the strategies take is posted as it happens, with the instrument, the direction, the entry, the target and the stop. You would place the ones you want by hand, on any broker and any platform. The room has not opened, and there is no launch date right now.
